All are welcomed here?

This is a real life scenario:-

Me mate woke up early yesterday morning to find his maid dying. She attempted to commit suicide by drinking washing liquid or something. Unfortunately for the poor girl, it did not kill her but made her suffer and left her in agonising pain.

Me mate rushed her to the nearest hospital he could think of - the DAMANSARA SPECIALIST HOSPITAL. He din think a small tiny 24 hour clinic would be of much help and he din mind paying good money to a private hospital.

The nurses put the poor girl onto a bed and informed me mate that a doctor will be attending to her shortly. All the while, the poor girl was in great agony.

The doctor finally arrived about 10 minutes later.

He informed me mate that it appears that the girl had attempted to commit suicide. It is "the hospital's policy" NOT TO ACCEPT SUCH PEOPLE!!!!!! He told me mate to send the girl instead to the University Hospital.

Me mate was shocked. He din even bother to argue and asked instead that they at least provide an ambulance to send the girl there.

The doctor told me mate in a matter-of-fact manner that it would be faster if he sent the girl himself as it would take half an hour for the DAMANSARA SPECIALIST HOSPITAL to get an ambulance ready to take the girl there.

Imagine the scene:-

What happened to the Oath all doctors must take???

"... I will follow that system of regimen which, according to my ability and judgment, I consider for the benefit of my patients, and abstain from whatever is deleterious and mischievous...."

Hippocrates' Oath? More like hypocrites' oath!!!
