Starving...
This is always a difficult time of the year - the period in between the English Premier League football seasons!!!! Suddenly, after weeks of having at least 3 footie EPL matches to watch every weekend, there is none! Not a single one. Saturday nites are never the same.
We, EPL fans will have to wait til August before the new season starts. In the meantime, we try to satisfy oursleves with the rumours regarding which team is buying which player for how much!!!!
We are starved of FOOTBALL!!!!!!
Well, thank goodness there are other things to keep us occupied - like the Wimbledom Tennis! Every nite, I sit by me TV watching talented players dressed in predominantly white, push each other to the limits known only in the tennis world. It has been entertaining thus far!
Another thing to keep us satisfied (barely) was the the Confederations Cup! I caught the finals early this morning! Wat a game!! Of course, as a pure English supporter, I was on the side of the team which wore their familiar yellow-blue strips! Yup, the World Champions won the Confederation Cup! They won it by 3 clear goals!!!! Yup, the final score is 4-1!!!
Of course, the team in white and blue stripes tried very hard to launch a "comeback" - but not every team are as talented as Liverpool!!!!! Besides Liverpool, which team can come back after being down 3 goals in a cup final???
