Seafood noodles

Oh, I had some excellent seafood noodles – at SS2, PJ!!! Ok, ok, the price is quite a killer (RM13.00 for a large bowl) but methinks it’s worth it!

Look at it this way – it had 4 big prawns, mussels, calms and squid in it. And if you really think about it, it costs less than 2 pounds! Slightly more than 3 US dollars!

Sori – was too busy enjoying it that I forgot to take a pic of it!

You can choose whatever noodles you want – rice noodles, vermicelli, normal mee, “yee mee” etc. And you can have it in 3 different kind of soup – Curry, Tom Yam, Clear Soup.

I had the curry. It was brilliant! Loved it. And the “sambal” goes so well wif it. The only slight drawback was that the curry was a bit too strong – so much so that I can’t really taste the seafood in the curry soup. Me mates had the clear soup. The soup was simply…. Whoa! It was sweet – the kind of seafood sweet taste. Lovely.

The place – free plug – you know where the Kayu Nasi Kandar place is? The one behind the old Choew Yang coffee shop? Well, this place is just a couple of doors away from Kayu.

After being stuffed wif the seafood noodles, we adjourned to Al’s place. For the aircond, mainly (curry on a hot afternoon = HOT!!!).

We oso played a new game which Al got from his cuz. Can’t remember the name of the game tho. But it was pretty interesting. It involves “building” of castles, roads, farms, monastries etc. Quite an ingenious game, I must say.

We couldn’t decide who won in the end cuz we din know how to award points for the farmland! So we took a pic of it to send it to Al’s cuz for consultation!!!

The end of the game. I'm "green" and have 2 men on the disputed farmland Posted by Hello

After that, we couldn’t pull ourselves away from the aircond so Al left us at his place when he had to go for his tennis (yeah, we of not the “in crowd” were not invited). So we just stayed on, played cards (I suck at Chor Tai Ti!!!), chatted and had tea! It was quite funny, actually. We were all pretty tired but we still “forced” ourselves to stay on for one last game, while struggling to keep awake.

I guess these are simple moments shared wif closed mates that we just wish it could go on and on.

And oh – about the toilet, well, IT WASN’T MY FAULT! Really!!!!
